USEFUL INFORMATION
This debate was raging long before the Personal Computer became popular and
it still goes on. Now that we have PC’s and the internet, you can find several
articles on the subject. Some are fact based, some are merely opinions.
There are definite differences that will affect the audio.
Things like distortion, harmonics, noise and power level.
What I’ve done is to present some links that I read and then you can decide
for yourself because good and bad designs exist for both.
Some suppliers or service companies and some of the articles are biased.
The short story is that you have to use your own ears.
